ABOUT OYSTER SHELL VILLA
#Whitstable. You will love this modern detached house for many reasons but especially the stunning sea views and quick beach access. You will witness the most spectacular sunsets here and the quiet location on a residential cul-de-sac along with plenty of outdoor space makes the house very suitable for family gatherings. We are a family style property and do not accept bookings for large separate groups of friends for parties or similar.
Sleeping between 2 and 8 people in up to 5 bedrooms, the house works well for family groups and the disabled or those with more limited mobility as most facilities are on the ground floor with no steps, large level showers and you can drive right to the front door for those who find walking difficult. We also give a discount to the prices here for all bookings for the whole house that have a person aged 65 or above in the party, just ask.
The house was renovated in early 2022 and there are now 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The sleeps 4 option will normally be for a king and double room both with an ensuite bathroom on the ground floor. The whole house would add another king room and twin room that share a large family bathroom on the first floor. There is also a separate study room that converts to a 5th king bedroom at an additional charge but occupancy will still be restricted to 8 people. We are happy to discuss Sleeps 4 guests who prefer the 1st floor bedroom option. Parking for 3 cars and with an electric car charger. A shop, post office and pub are within 5 minutes walk as is the beach and a playing field. Whitstable High Street and many good restaurants are all within a lovely 20 minutes walking along the coast path – but there are also regular buses to Whitstable and Canterbury from a stop near the house.

Pricing for 2 people in 1 bedroom is available with a further £100 reduction on the sleeps 4 rate, please enquire. Any booking for the whole house that contains a person over 65 in the party will receive a discount , please enquire.
High Season: 28 June to 29 August 2024 and 20 December to 2 January 2025
Mid Season: 30 August to 31 October 2024 and 28 March to 26 June 2025
Low Season: 1 November to 19 December 2024 and 3 January to 27 March 2025
Week bookings are from Friday and weekend bookings are 3 nights from Friday to Monday. Midweek bookings, Monday to Thursday or Friday may be available on request.
Bookings for up to 4 persons are for 2 bedrooms/2 bathrooms only and you must select party size of 4 and enter a discount code to get correct pricing or you must select party size of 8 (both irrespective of your actual party size) to book the whole house which is 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Whatever party size you are, the whole house is booked for you and remaining bedrooms / bathrooms must be unused. If you require the study room as an additional 5th bedroom, but note occupancy will still be restricted to 8 + child, please enquire, we simply charge an additional £75 to cover the linen etc.
Pets charged at £50 each per booking to a maximum of 2 pets and owners must be responsible.
SEA SUNSET COTTAGE
Sea Sunset Cottage is an architect-designed seaside retreat, combining modern luxuries with sheer elegance to offer families and design aficionados a stylish escape. Set right on the beach in the fashionable maritime town of Whitstable in Kent, this luxury house flaunts a weatherboard and glass façade, framing far-reaching sea views from every room which echo the opulent ocean-hued interiors within. Sea Sunset Cottage has 3 bedrooms each with ensuite bathrooms and sleeps up to 6 people with a rare private car parking space and a pretty garden along with a raised balcony. The beach is in front of you and the many shops and restaurants of the high street are 5 minutes walk away and the iconic Neptune pub is but a short stroll. The house is always available at reduced rates for under-occupancy, the house is not suitable for young children and with the beach dog ban, sorry no pets.
