Nestled along a small private no through road, the Oyster Shell is a striking modern detached 4/5 bedroom house with sea views. The house has a large raised first floor balcony and a pretty front garden too. The house is a short walk from Whitstable town centre with its myriad independent shops and restaurants. You can also walk the Saxon shore coast path just a few minutes from the front door as well as cycle along the coast or into Canterbury along the disused railway line.
HOW TO GET TO OYSTER SHELL VILLA
By Road
Whitstable is approximately 90 minutes from London.
Follow the signs to Whitstable and you will go down a hill into the town, at the bottom of the hill turn left after the petrol station. Drive along Joy Lane and you will pass the Rose in Bloom pub on your right after a few minutes. As the sea then comes into view on your right you need to take a left into Medina Avenue just before the Post Office. If you pass a hump-backed bridge on your right or do a 90degree turn to your left you have gone too far !
By Train
Whitstable is served by direct trains from London Victoria and London St Pancras generally every half hour. In rush hour there are also trains from London Cannon Street. Journey time is roughly 80 minutes.
Whitstable railway station is a 25 minute walk from the house. Note taxis should be booked in advance especially on Fridays as there are rarely taxis waiting. Call 01227 261561 for a taxi.
